We’re working on getting back into the swing of things, but we’re still working out juggling a colicky newborn and 2 other kids who want our attention!
I printed out the first set of the You Can Read program at 1+1+1=1 for Baloo. He is typically not a worksheet type child, but he is very interested in sight words. I actually picked the first set because he is familiar with all the words in that set. We’ve only had one day to work on it so far and we just did 2 of the sheets. But he loved the worksheets! He was challenged just enough but also enjoyed doing the work!
He used dot markers to dot each word a different color! 
When he finished he told me he wanted to check all of them.

The word find! I really didn’t think he’d like this, but once I explained it he LOVED it! He wanted me to print off more word finds for him!!
It was a short week for us but we’re slowly getting back into the swing of things. Hopefully next week will go better!
