The last few letters I’ve posted I kept thinking “Oh my gosh, we’re almost done with this set!”. I feel like I just finished it last week! From conception of the idea to completion, these projects really become a part of us. I kept thinking I’d be sad to be done, but I think instead I’m going to try to add some review sets or something. I’m just not quite ready to let this one go!!
So here we are at the letter Y. Logi-Bear recognizes this letter because it’s in Royal’s name (as he tells me quite often). There are a few letters that he immediately associates with his name or his brothers names (M, K, L, N, G, to name a few. It’s very exciting for him!). When one of them pops up it’s always the same kind of explanation. “Hey, that’s in MY name!”.
So What’s Next Then?
The good news is that Logi-Bear is moving onto learning to read (CVC words, sight words, etc). I actually have been working on a supplemental Learn to Read type program for about 3 years…I think it’s time to finally finish it! TO be honest, I actually have a Learn to Read program, a fun CVC practice set, AND a dolch sight word based sight word set. Yeah, I enjoy things like this a bit! Be on the lookout for those soon!
