When we finished playing with our finger paints, I decided to try and make a quick coloring mixing lesson for Royal. I took 3 bags and put 2 colors in each bag. Then we smushed the colors together until a new color appeared.
Smush, smush, smush! And orange!!
The colors were so vibrant that the change was very apparent. It was a great show for Royal that mixing 2 primary colors gets you another color!

What a great idea. Not only do they get to play with the paint, but learn, too..and not to make black/brown every time!
