I don’t tend to print out a lot of printables at once and we typically use them almost immediately, but from time to time I do like to plan ahead or store printables for later use. My method isn’t really that sophisticated, but it works for us!
Anytime I print something out ahead of time, I try to separate it by child in manila folders. If I’m using one theme for two kids (as such with the tool pack: one folder for Royal and one for Logi-Bear) then I put both folders in one big green folder together in the crate. I try to do one theme for all 3 boys, but it often doesn’t happen since they are all such individuals with different likes and interests!
As you can tell from the photo above, I don’t usually print off a lot. We tend to do one or two printable activities a day and we try to reuse as much as possible. I’ve found less is more, even with themed printables!! By just printing off a few things that we will use I save time, ink, and for some reason my boys are more interested in the activities.
I’ve gathered a few links to other printable storage ideas (big thanks to Cassie at 3 Dinosaurs for helping compile this list!!)
