Sometimes when Logi-Bear wakes up early I have to entertain him quietly in the kitchen where there is little to do.  This is when we often make up an impromptu fine motor skill activities!

This day I found an open box of Orzo pasta and an empty container of Coffee Mate creamer.  The coffee mate creamer opening is so small I knew it would be enough to challenge him yet still be interesting enough to keep him quiet.

Yep, he loved trying to pinch the orzo!

And he really enjoyed putting it in the container!!  And when he got them all in we had an instant rattle!

This is also when he loves to ham it up for me.
