Fun Reading Practice with Beach Silly Sentences

Put together some silly sentences and practice reading at the same time. These sentences are sure to entertain for fun reading!The silly sentences that I’ve made in the past are some of my kids favorite printables.  Even Baloo, at 10, will jump in to make some sentences.  That’s a big endorsement (in my opinion!).  They have so much fun tossing the dice and seeing what crazy concoction they will get.

So I keep trying to put out new ones with different themes to keep the fun times rolling. A beach themed sounded like a lot of fun and there were some pretty funny options I thought of right away…

How to Set Up the Silly Sentences

There are two versions of the dice – one set to go in photo cubes and another to  be assembled yourself.  I prefer the ones that you assemble yourself because the photo cubes can make the colors look off.

To assemble the dice, cut the outline but leave the skinny color lines intact.  Fold on all lines then tape or glue the flaps on the inside.  You should have a handy cube.

You’ll need to print all 3 dice – one in each color.

 

How to Use the Beach Silly Sentences

This is the fun part.  Simply roll all three dice and then match them to the correct color.  Last, read the sentence!

The beach set is sure to entertain as there are some really silly options.  Like a crab building a sandcastle on the boardwalk.  Print it out and play with the set to find all the options!
