Christmas Mini Eraser Math Sets for Santa and Candy Canes
Don’t have the mini erasers? No problem! There’s a page at the back where you can print your own. Print on cardstock so they’re thick enough to withstand use!
But check Target to see if they still have some!
Mini erasers have become one of our biggest motivators in learning. My kids love them. I’m not sure if it’s because they’re tiny or cute, or what.
For more Mini Eraser themes, check out our mini eraser page!
The mini eraser pages are all no prep (or low prep, like finding a paper clip to use as a spinner). There shouldn’t be any cutting or prepping these pages!
I’m going to include some of the pages included in these sets! Both sets (Candy Cane and Santa) have all of the pages!
Multiplication: Sort the Santas into equal groups and make a multiplication sentence! 4 groups of 3 equals 12. What about 5 groups of 3?
Skip Counting Santas: Use a mini eraser to cover the numbers while skip counting. You can skip count by any number with this mat. Look for the different patterns!
Fact Families:
Make fact families a hands-on activity with this page. Add some erasers to the two smaller circles. Add them together in the big circle. Those 3 numbers are your fact family!
Fractions:
A simple way to do some fraction work! The top ones are already prepared for you but the bottom allows you to make your own fractions! Grab a handful of erasers. The total number goes on bottom and the number of that color goes on top.
Addition with Ten Frames:
Use two ten frames to add numbers up to 20. Spin one number, add that many erasers with one color. Then spin another number and add erasers with a different color.
Write down the result on the right hand side.
Spin and Add
This can be used sort of like a game. Person one spins, adds their erasers. Person 2 spins, adds their erasers.
Keep going until you reach 50!
