My parents just moved into a new house that had been a big neglected in the backyard. Nevertheless it was covered in gorgeous flowers! I couldn’t name many of them, but there were at least 4 different types of roses! We picked flowers everyday and were able to just touch and smell and play with them!
Unfortunately, what used to be a sea of color, is now this:
I was determined to take part in the Tinkerlab Creative Challenge though and we managed to find 4 different types of flowers to investigate!
Baloo was ready to smash them and be on with it, but I thought it lacked a bit of creativity, especially for a creativity challenge. So I just planted the seed. “Hm, I wonder what would happened if we smashed them on the paper…?” One little comment and he was game. I let him take it from there on out.
He did the pink ones first and was delighted that they made purple marks!
Next up were orange and yellow. Our orange flower was very thin and hard to get much color out of.
And what was Royal doing during all of our creative time? Treating his cat to the flowers of course!
