Dr Seuss Inspired Sensory Bin
I found these adorable Cat in the Hat inspired erasers at the Target One Spot and knew I had to include them in a fun sensory bin. I decided to go with dyed ice cream salt as the base. The ice cream salt dyes beautifully and it’s so inviting!
I also included little colored plastic shot glasses, a blue cup, and a few scoops.
It was just moments before Logi-Bear was all over this bin!
And of course the red and white stripes didn’t last long. That’s okay though! The presentation is just to get them to play!
Isn’t the blue color just lovely??
He spent a lot of time presenting his bowls of sea salt to me…
We lined up the cups. I tried to get him to do some patterning but he had his own game in mind.
He did work on some fine motor skills by carefully scooping the sea salt on top of the cups.
What a beautiful activity! I love everything about it!
