Halloween Letter Puppets–AlphaOops
We found this adorable Halloween alphabet book at the library and I knew instantly we had to do something with it. Each letter is dressed up as something (V is for Vampire, P is for Pirate, Z is for Zombie) and it’s really quite fantastic.
We chose to remake L, M, and F for some fun little Halloween puppets.
For the L we used brown construction paper and brown yarn. L is going to be a Lycanthrope (which is like a werewolf).
M is for Mummy. We used black construction paper and paper towels for the mummy wrappings.
Royal was making L so I had him cut it out on his own.
Meanwhile, I got Logi-Bear busy tearing the paper towel into strips.
Time to glue! Royal put down the yarn, mostly in clumps.
For F is for Frankenstein we just cut out a green F and some black hair and glued it on.
Here’s how our popsicle puppets turned out!!
The boys really attached to these little puppets. Even though the L accidentally got turned around, they were playing and identifying the letters. They especially liked saying BOO just like B does in the book.
