Letter B and Blueberries for Sal
For the summer we have been working through Easy Peasy with Royal, but I’m adding in a few hands on activities to go with the letters. It’s fun for me, fun for him…win-win!
For B week we decided to have a pseudo-row of Blueberries for Sal. We love this book so reading it everyday, multiple times a day is thoroughly enjoyed.
We started off the week with this fun craft from my Blueberries for Sal pack (download link at the bottom)
I had Royal use his finger to make little blue dots for blueberries. The b is meant to be a blueberry bush. Then we colored the mama bear and the baby bear and glued them on! They’re eating the blueberries.
Of course we couldn’t resist eating blueberries and making blueberry muffins. And yes, I made a b with blueberry muffins. Why not!
This is also from my Blueberries for Sal pack. I’m working with Royal on his one-to-one correspondence. He actually really liked pretending the gems were blueberries!
Check out my Blueberries for Sal pack for more fun activities!
I want to do a row with Liam at some point. Have been hoping to get the whole curriculum. I love all your ideas and need to pin it!
OTHERS PLEASE BEWARE!!! I was SO excited about this because we had just read this book again today. However, when I followed your download instructions I a) did NOT get the downloads but b) got a search hacking malware that I can’t get off my computer. What’s most frustrating is that I originally clicked away thinking I could just make stuff like this for myself, but then in an effort to save time, I cam back. Now two hours later, I’m still trying to get this garbage off my computer. Please use a more reputable download company without so many add-ons and offers.
I actually don’t have a download company – just direct links to the PDF files. It sounds like you might have clicked on an ad.
