Shadow Craft–Virtual Book Club Nick Sharatt–Foggy Foggy Forest
Nick Sharatt is a new author to me and unfortunately our library only carries one of his books But it’s an amazing book!
We loved The Foggy Foggy Forest! Royal and I had a great time guessing what would be on the next page. He was right a lot of the time, too!
We decided to make our own shadow pictures. I asked each of the boys what they wanted to make and cut out the shapes using construction paper. Logi-Bear wanted a yellow dog, Royal wanted a small blue cat, and Baloo made his own – a dragon.
I gave them the pieces and assisted in putting them together.
After they were done putting them together we glued them down to black construction paper (here Baloo is adding the final touches.)
Then we cut out the black to make the shadows!
