Winter SuDoKu for Math Puzzle Fun
Winter is upon us and that means new toothbrushes! Sorry, that might not have made sense to you. We switch out toothbrushes every time the seasons change. It’s a simple reminder and keeps our toothbrushes fresh every 3 months. So when someone told me “Happy Winter” my first thought was ‘new toothbrushes’! Silly, right? That’s our season change tradition! We’re trying to create new winter traditions, too!
But anyhow, SuDoKu seems like a tradition at this point! I’m trying to get my children to solve the SuDoKu puzzles with numbers, but no luck yet!
We are well into our week of Winter printables! This will be the last day for this week but the winter printables will continue on Monday! For all updates, make sure to sign up for the newsletter! Plus, an exclusive winter freebie will be in the next one!
Using the Winter SuDoKu pages
I wanted to make a cute set of winter themed SuDoKu. My kids really love the winter themes. I think it’s because we don’t see snow often so they play pretend winter a lot. The idea of snow is a lot of fun (I grew up in the north and do not miss it at all!).
This set includes 3 different puzzles:
Snowman
Snowflakes
Hot Chocolate
Each puzzle has a different solution!
This is the snowman puzzle! I think it’s my favorite, to be honest. I love the nose…Anyway, I typically cut out the pieces just to entice the boys a bit more. With the pieces just sitting there waiting to be placed, it’s hard to resist solving the puzzle. When they need to be cut first, it’s much easier to resist.
Snowflake puzzle! There are four different snowflakes represented. I made sure they are quite different so there would not confusion and it would be slightly easier to solve!
