Learn Ww with Dot Marker Printables!
Today Logi-Bear (5) referred to a candle as a “smelling good” and I realized that I won’t have these moments much longer. By ‘these moments’ I mean the ones where they use the best descriptions of objects when they don’t know the real name. They come few and far between now. That was one of my favorite things about toddlerhood and preschool-land. Some of the names they came up with were just so endearing! So, I wanted to note that we bought 4 new smelling goods…we are going to hold onto that title for dear life.
It is that time of the week when we get ready for a new dot marker letter! I am so excited about these printables again because Logi-Bear is back to using them! We fell off the bandwagon a bit, but I knew he’d come back if necessary. We are racing through All About Reading Pre-Reading level and I think this is our last time through the alphabet this way. He’s starting to sound out some small words with letters he is familiar with. So I am soaking it all up.
I get questions about what type of dot markers we use. The Do A Dot Marker brand is my favorite. We have another type that is great but the paint tends to splatter. The Do A Dot ones rarely splatter and they are the perfect size.
We also use glass gems a lot. I typically buy mine from JoAnn’s or Michaels with a coupon. They can get expensive! Sometimes the Dollar Tree has themed plastic gems and those are fun too. These bags at Amazon are actually a great deal. 1 bag at craft stores would be at least $6, so getting 2 for $6.99 is a great deal.
