Ivory Soap Experiment
We finally did the Ivory Soap experiment, and it was every bit as fun as promised.  Although, I have to admit that only 1 of my boys (Royal) really enjoyed it.  He played with the soapy, flaky mixture for an hour, and most of that time by himself.
The initial experiment was a lot of fun!  All of the boys loved watched the soap expand and expand in the microwave!

And then we added water.

It was a great big mess.  A huge mess.  But it was worth it!

Water tub.
Water, cups, tub…that’s it!  Baloo stuck an orange marker in for a moment causing the orange hue.

This activity was quite the hit for a long time.  I just put down a towel in our living room and let them at it!  They scooped, dumped, balanced, and just played!
