Graphing
Another thing Baloo really enjoys is graphing. I found out how much he loved it when we started our sight word graphing game! The biggest problem I’ve had with graphing is finding things to graph! A lot of kindergarten classes will take a poll and graph the answers but we only have 5 people in the house. There just isn’t much to graph with 5 people! And I’m not sure how our neighbors would feel if we polled them very often.
So we have started graphing the weather, and what color shirt we are wearing! He often demands to graph not only the main color of his shirt but any other colors that happen to be on the shirt. So this day he graphed red and yellow.
The weather chart is so much fun because we get to see what trends we are having in weather. Although, the weather here in South Alabama does not vary much. I have a feeling the sunny and party cloudy columns will fill up quickly!
The shirt color chart is great too! I printed out the black and white version for Baloo so we are also working on reading the color names!
