Marshmallow Monsters

Whoever said ‘Don’t play with your food’ didn’t know how much fun food is!

We started off with giant marshmallows, mini marshmallows, sprinkles, toothpicks, water, and gel food marker things.

To get the sprinkles to stick, we put a bit of water on the marshmallows.

Then we sprinkled.  And sprinkled, and sprinkled, and sprinkled!

We used the gel pen things for eyes, ears, mouths, etc.  And, if desired, we covered that part with more sprinkles!
And then we used toothpicks and mini marshmallows to make legs/bolts etc.

Baloo made a creeper from Minecraft.

Royal made a spider.

And I made Frankenstein.

And then, naturally, we ate our creations.

Overall, it was a lot of fun!  And I was really pleased that Royal did 99% of it by himself.  It was very much a child-led activity!
