PreK week 5/30

Baloo is 4 years 10 months

Well we managed to do school this week every day!!  We’re finally getting back on schedule!

When we were in Tampa the boys really took to the new Disney Jr show Jake and the Neverland Pirates.  So I worked my tail off and made a preschool/kindergarten pack and tot pack with Jake as the theme.  Baloo has loved it and Royal has been a little excited.

We managed to get our own calendar out and start doing calendar time again.  Royal really enjoyed parts of it, and Logi-Bear even joined us!
 

I finally changed out the batteries in Baloo’s Leapfrog and he played it a lot this week!

We played games a lot this week.  Hi Ho Cherry-O was very popular with Baloo.  He wanted to play it over and over again!
 

We played a lot of Candyland too although that was mostly Royal’s pick.
 

Magneatos were a hit this week.  Baloo enjoyed making some different 4’s.

I couldn’t even be angry with the mess because at this point the boys were working together to transport the blocks and build little houses and buildings. 

We started working on Daddy’s fathers day present.
 

We worked on unit 2 of You Can Read!  Baloo was actually comfortable with all these words already, so we’ll just spend 1 week on this unit!
      

We’re not yet done with pirate week but we’re just doing school 4 days a week.  I think we will just make next week pirate week too!
