How to Set Up the Pumpkin Easy Reader Books
These books are designed for quick and easy setup! Yay!
Just cut down the middle and stack one-half on top of the other. Staple the left-hand side and you are done!
All of the pages can be printed on regular paper. Setup for these books and pages is a breeze.
The sight words featured in this book are big and little. The books are very repetitive to cover those words as much as possible.
How to Use the Pumpkin Easy Reader Books
There are two versions of the books. One version (above) has the answers included where the sight words can be traced.
The other version (below) just has a line where the sight words can be written in.
Use whichever version works best for you!
The only other words included are either simple words, other easy sight words, or the word pumpkin. Kids will hopefully be able to recognize the patterns on each page so they can read the words “The pumpkin is…” on their own and then fill in the rest of the sentence.
There are also 4 extra pages included – two for the sight word ‘big’ and two for the sight word ‘little’.
The first page features a word search. Find the sight word 5 times in the word search. On the bottom part, they need to fill in the missing letter of the sight word and then circle the sight word in each sentence.
The second page involves dotting the sight word and then filling in the sight word in the sentence below.
Both pages are meant to reinforce the sight word within the context of the easy reader book.
