Build Up to Summer Learning – 3rd Grade

I am really excited.  Cassie and I usually approach the summer program in January to start planning.  This year we really weren’t sure if we were going to be able to pull it off.  Between kids, medical, school, and just plain craziness, the idea seemed too big.  So we decided just to start off with an update to include 3rd grade.  We both have kids that just finished the 3rd grade and we knew we would want something for them.  And I have to say, this 3rd grade update rocks.  It’s a lot harder too coordinate stuff like this for older kids, but we really put our minds to it, and I think it shows!
Anyway, enough with the essay.  Here is the first week of the 3rd grade update to Build Up to Summer Learning!

Each day includes 4 pages: math, language arts, cursive, and sight words.  With math and language arts we rotate the different concepts that most 3rd graders learn throughout the year such as multiplication, division, fractions, contractions, writing, fix the sentence, etc.

The themes match up with the themes for the original Build Up so if you have multiple children you’ll be able to use the same program!
