Robot PreK Pack

Before I get to the robot pack, I have to share a few things.  First, as some of you may have noticed, I’ve been oddly absent for a few months.  I started graduate school back in August to get my MS in Psychology.  Psychology has always been a passion of mine and pretty much the only field of work that I would consider going into.    Anyway, as much as I’ve been enjoying my classes (and I really have been), they leave very little time left over for things like making printables or blogging.  At first I thought I’d still be able to blog, but I always have some other school thing to work on.  No lie, grad school is rough!  They give you 7 days to leave 14 days worth of material.

So what does this mean for the blog?  That’s a question I’ve been pondering myself for awhile.  The good news is that ad revenue is still enough to cover the bare necessities, so I can still afford to pay for the blog to stay up.  Royal Baloo isn’t going offline anytime soon!  In January I committed myself to one post a month, and obviously that didn’t happen.  So my plan is to just do what I can, when I can.  This little robot pack took me weeks to make.

I do intend to invest some time over the next week to schedule all of the cursive packs so they come out regularly.  It’s been one of those things on my to-do list that just hasn’t gotten done.

Now, onto the robot pack!!  Logi-Bear is almost 4 years old now and I really want to start focusing on letters and counting/numbers with him.  His current interest is a game called Titanfall.  The Titans happen to look a lot like robots, and I can usually interest him in robot related stuff.  So I put together this pack to see if he’d be interested!

This isn’t really a normal PreK pack for me.  I went a bit old school and didn’t include any worksheets.  Logi-Bear is not a sit-down kind of kid.  He’s a typical, rowdy, always-on-the-go, kind of kid.  There is no way he would sit down and work on a worksheet.  So I focused on manipulative type exercises.  There is a lot of matching.  But I think it will be fun!

What’s Included:
ABC Cards
Counting
Shape Matching
Heads and Tails Matching
Size Sorting
Color Matching
