Light Table Coloring–Sensory Play Party

Welcome to the weekly Sensory Play Party brought to your by Little Bins for Little Hands and Royal Baloo!  This is out last link up for the year!!  Sarah and I will be taking the next 2 weeks off to prepare for the new year!

We love our new DIY light table!  It’s been a lot of fun and added a bit of variety to our schooling.

We to make little window hangs using the light table.  First I gave the boys small laminating sheets that came with our laminator.

Then we colored!!  Royal didn’t know what to color so I made him a Christmas tree and let him decorate it.

After we finished coloring, we ran them through the laminator.

This is my coloring.  I cut it out after laminating to hang on the window ( or maybe a Christmas tree…)

We also took this time to explore coloring mixing a bit.  I colored three circles – blue, red, and yellow – and had them overlap a bit.  After laminating you could really see where they mixed!
