First week of baby Tot school

Royal is 12.5 months

Royal really enjoys playing with balls.  So he couldn’t resist a bucket full of small wool balls.  Especially ones that fit perfectly into his hands! We rolled them, tossed them up into he air, traded with each other, and then he sat in them.

Calendar time!!  We try to do a daily calendar time for Baloo, but since Royal is down to one nap a day he is usually awake and present for this time.  I’ve started adding him into the songs and getting him involved in this time.  We now pick 2 colors of the day (each boy gets to pick one!)

The magnet board!  It’s amazing how entertaining a cookie sheet and set of magnets can be!

Nature walk!  We don’t have much nature within walking distance, and the nature we do have is mostly sand and dead grass.  But we still managed to see a few birds, some interesting bugs, and we played with the weeds.

Watching the ants

Craft time!

Yogurt painting!  I’ll be doing a blog on this later this week

Shaving cream bags.  Again, a blog for this later in the week!

That’s all for our tot school this week!  Check 1+1+1=1 for more tot school posts!!

  1. My girls loved watching the ants this week too. We love going out in nature. As I said in my one post though, keep the bees away. Love the shaving cream. I need to do that with my girls. Looks like they had tons of fun.

  2. I don't think I've visited your blog before, but I'm glad I did. My younger son is 8 months old, and I enjoyed getting some ideas for what we might choose to do in a few months. Thanks! 🙂
